23/01/2011 - the world's MUSEST tribute

Hi all, It's been a while since the last update but we have been busy with great things lately! Our Moscow trip in December sums it up and was the perfect highlight of 2010! We played two shows for an outstanding crowd, everything was just perfect! Curious? Take a look at our youtube channel for of a compilation of the complete show as well as a full version of 'Uprising'. We noticed that there is a lot of interest for our Muse-tribute currently, so we decided to dive into this new adventure with a new name for the tribute: MUSEST. New videos are available and a new website will follow soon. Also, new videos will be shot at our MUSEST gig in plein79 in Den Bosch, on the 26th of March. So get ready for almost 2 hrs of Muse mayhem! Currently we are working hard to spread the word about the world’s MUSEST tribute, to do so we have exciting meetings, gigs and videos coming up so keep your eyes on our twitter page. Unfortunately, as a consequence, Blend will be an off-stage band for a large part of this year, but Blend will more than ever be in our hearts. In the background we will continue writing new material since this still is our passion! And when the time is right, songs are ready and the world is ready, we can’t wait to hit the stage again. 06/10/2010 - Blend goes abroad

We're extremely pleased and proud to announce that Blend has two gigs in Russia this December! We were invited to headline a Russian festival and promote British music with a Muse tribute. The first show is in Saint Petersburg (on the 10th of December) and the second is in Moscow (on the 11th of December). The line-up will also include The Vegas (RUS), Coldplace (UK). Due to the enormous scale of this Russian festival it demands a lot of preparation from us. That’s one of the reasons why we’ll perform a try-out version of our Russian show at Hangar20 in Breda on the 7th of November. So if you're curious, come check us out! We are trying to arrange another try-out gig somewhere in November. Stay tuned to find out when you can come and visit one of our shows. First of all we want to invite you to our twitter updates at www.twitter.com/blendpage. As you've noticed the news at our website isn't updated very frequently so check out our tweets to stay in touch with our daily activities. What we can tell you now is that some very interesting things are up in the air but unfortunately we can't give you detailed information on that yet. And last, but definitely not least, we're pleased to announce we'll be playing an acoustic set for Second Sunday at Hofman cafe in Utrecht next Monday, March 1st, with Monks Avenue. Last Tuesday we had an amazing gig, supporting Kane in Gorinchem. We  kicked off for the 'Zomerfeesten' for over 9000 enthusiastic visitors! You'll soon find some pictures around here. The gig has been captured on video as well which means you'll soon find some moving images of that unforgettable gig online! Besides this, we launched a small Smartphone version of our website so you can stay in touch wherever you are! Check it out here.
